The Mend’s paperboard mailers are made from recycled paper, and are further recyclable, biodegradable and compostable. They are a versatile and lightweight option for logistics packaging, and act as protective packaging to the product inside. Our mailers are available in recycled kraft and can be printed in a single-colour to suit your needs. They can additionally be padded with fluting for extra protection.

Paperboard mailers come in recycled brown kraft and can only be a 1-2 color print directly on the mailer.
Recycled kraft has GSM ranging from 100-300. Given the use case of your product, we can recommend the thickness for your packaging.
We avoid plastic laminations and use biodegradable aqua coatings and varnishes instead to protect the print and durability of the mailers

Industrial composting can deal with a broader range of compostable products and operates in a highly controlled setting with specific temperatures and conditions. Industrial composting is able to apply a far higher temperature to the already pre-processed packaging material. The high heat breaks the packaging down even further, hastening the decomposition.
